Barry Schwartz, a sociology professor at Swarthmore College and author of The Paradox of Choice gave a TEDTalk in 2005 on why less is more. It’s a very relevant talk in the modern age, where more choice is seen as more happiness. Schwartz shows logical studies and real life examples on how exactly the opposite is true, most of the time. After watching this video, I have found myself in situation, where I feel like I have been trapped by too much choice. Seeing this has enabled me to understand and accept the situation, allowing me to move forwards in making a decision.
