I like to picture the conscious as the Captain of a ship called life. Each of us directs life a the direction or another. If you feel like life "happens" to you, you are simply taking a direction by default. You are still directing your life, but the direction appears erratic because you are not giving clear orders to the crew. Take charge, and make choices. You will get anywere you want. Nice blog.
